Hey Guys. I have a CZ 527....in 7.62 x 39 which is (according to the Cz stats) .311 bore. Looking to reload for this and see that .311 (for 7.62 x 39) is much tougher to find.

Heres the question....i see some .303 projectiles (listed as .311). Is there any reason why these would not work in building a 7.62x 39 cartridge??

They work fine... but Hornady makes a bunch of .310" bullets for the X39... I shoot primarily the 123 SST and SP... They are very accurate in my X39's.

Slug your bore and I am willing to bet it will measure .310. Speer makes the .310 diameter bullets up specifically for the 7.62x39 in 125 grain soft tips.

Brass and bullets are not hard to come by IME... Budget and others have components in Stock... PRVI brass is good quality and readily available, Trade EX is usually well stocked... even my LGS has it and a WTB ad in the EE will net quick results.

They work fine, I have done 150 gr SP pulled from 303 for my 7.62x39

I have a Zastava M85 in 7.62X39 that I've recently acquired all the reloading stuff for. Budget Shooter Supply has everything you need including brass.

Thanks Mutha. Im lucky enough to live about 10 minutes from Henry at Budget. Have a good day.
