Stingers in a 10/22 ??

We all know that you shouldn't shoot Stingers in a 10/22. That being said mine shot them great, with no jams and no damage to the rifle.

Have any of you had any problems with Stingers in your 10/22? Any pre-mature wear?

How about you guys with GM barrels? Thats my next barrel purchase and I was wondering if Stingers would work in it.
I would hate to damage my new barrel.
 
i have shot stingers in my 10 22 for many years .we harvest fallow deer for the meat with them .head shots at 25 to 80 yards with no problems ever .i have had great luch with stingers DUTCH
 
Not recommended for tighter chambered barrels like the one in the target model. The plain sporter barrels will shoot them fine.
 
You can shoot stingers in them if you please though, they will work, I put two in my target model to see if they work. However my groups just got ruined after doing that, cannot shoot anything less than 2 inches at 25 yards, pretty much a garbage barrel now. Just kidding :p
 
Anything that has a "match barrel," Stingers shouldnt be used.

That being said, my GM barrel shoots Stingers fine. Each to there own I guess.
