Who's the recommended vendor for stippling a Glock?

What price should I be expecting?

I'm looking to stipple the full grip and the thumb rest areas.

Thanks

don't stipple yourself if you want it to look professional

here's a sample from Blackbox I had done. look up DIY jobs and compare yourself

I haven't watched it fully, but Yaeger (regardless of his cred) just did an interesting series on the value of stippling.

That said, if you're set on it, I'd do one of two things: as above, id do it myself. After all,YouTube is full of tutorials to make your gun look great. Second to that, I'd get my gun lasered. There are a couple spots here that are doing it. May cost a hint more, but you can get very precise patterns etched for traction.

Black Box Customs all the way!!!!

This vid? Makes me think I'm doing something wrong with my grip, cause my g17 is so slippery!! Maybe JAmes has massive hands?? I wear medium mechanix

Just finished undercuts, squashed the backstrap hump and stipple, not sure if I should stipple all the way up in thumb groove. THe undercut was a must, I cant believe how much better it feels, and no back hump made it feel narrower almost like my g19!! What I dont get is how the 19 fits me so good with the back hump??

Suchee,
I’ve never shot a Glock with the trigger guard undercut but the idea sounds interesting. Stippling doesn’t matter to me.

How did you do it? Do you just take a Dremel then sand it down? The result looks really professionally done. I might try it on one of my Glocks.

Yup, slow and low!! Youtube it, it was so easy. Best tip was to start sanding on the "hump" not just start inside the groove, actually lengthening it rather than just sanding up. But what a difference in ergos, no more sore knuckle

Dont know what grit this is, doesnt say, but my guess is 80, its very course. THen with paper 200, 400. Be careful with 200, it takes off alot quickly! Wouldnt have thought that. I over did it a little on the ext mag release., wanted to round it some. I have 600, but kinda like the "stickier" feel of 400

Just took some courage thats for sure. I wish I did this 10 years ago. Also the fact we can get serialized polymer80 if I really effed it up

I pretty much copied this guy, he talks about undercut and sanding at 3:42

Sorry OP hope this helps, I'll start a thread too
