"YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR,, I GET IT",,but;
Recently got Mystic to send me some nice cheap Previ brass for my new 300 WM and quality issues got me to thinking.
Where is the logic in spending 00's or even 000's of dollars on precision reloading stuff for the purpose of, sorting, trimming, uniforming, weighing, neck turning ,,, etc.,, presumably flawed brass, in order to cull and uniform it, and then paying an extra $2.00 each for brands that presumably don't require any of this ?
Premium brass would, I expect, outlast bargain brass by a large margin, but 4-5 X ?? Annealing works no ?
Similarly, if you have to cull, uniform a pocket or turn a neck anyway, does it really matter how much ?
You can no doubt tell I'm no precision Reloader but I'm dabbling at it with a view to learning. What am I missing so far ?
