Stock color?

I am having a 338-06 built, the rifle and barrel are stainless, I am undecided on the stock color, I want to see some of your painted rifle stock maybe to help me pick somthing out. Thanks

P.S the stock is a wildcat

I have a friend who has a Sako in 6 PPC with a McMillan benchret stock painted "Burnt Orange " same color as his Harley....real nice ..both

Are you wanting to use it for target or hunting? In that, are you looking for something more of the camo type or something 'cool' looking?

Not that camo isn't cool:

I am just waiting to get my stock altered by the 'smith, then I am painting it olive drab.

Check out ARMACOAT, They have some really high quality materials and some really cool camo stencils.

definatly check out armacoat there color paterns are awsome
i did my own paint on my .303 with krylon camo and it turned out pretty good

pics arnt that good but here is mine
and before anyone jumps on this yes i know where my finger is in the second pic LOL it slipped there accidently

Hey signguy, did you use the regular krylon camo or the one with fusion? and was the stock wood or synthetic?

i used the regular krylon on top of bed liner on top of wood
cant find thew krylon camo in fusion around here yet LOL

Model 7 Rem in .308win Hightech Specialties from Brownells weighs 17 oz,
I painted it with Chrysler 1993 Dynasty BLACK CHERRY has vey fine metalic fleck in paint very nice in sunlight it is almost a black colour.
