Stock M16 look for Remington 597 & Ruger 10/22

I'm not to familiar with the whole AR15 furniture and conversion kit but do these bolt on chases for rem 597 ruger 10/22 allow you to attach M16 furniture for a retro M16 kinda look?
 
10/22, yes. You'll need:
Nordic or Ruger SR-22 3-part body kit
Full length non-adjust buttstock tube and stock
D ring
18" threaded bbl, .750 might be too thick for a vintage M-16, there are others out there. Threaded for AR-type flash hider
triangular end cap
 
Would this be kinda the same story for the Rem597 also?

I couldn't say, I'm out of my element on this kinda stuff. Has any one here done a retro M16 look and willing to post a pic or two?
