Stock Refinish and staining

So ive been sanding my monte carlo stocks about 2 months now, and i finally stained one, i went black ebony and it looks awesome! i was just curious has anyone ever gone with a blue stock? im going red with my second set, but ive got a 340D savage that im building up and i was thinking blue,

Any ideas?

I refinished my Anschutz and left it clear.
Where the stippling meets the smooth area, their stain bleeds into the clear area.



While touring a automotive supply store, they had some red with a silver flake.
Flames are a neat accent.

"...a blue stock..." Chicks! Geezuz. snicker. Synthetics can come in colours.
It'll very likely change colour when you put on whatever finish you're using. Wood stains tend to do that.

this one is black, im lookin at building up a blue one, its going to be stained dark dark, hopefully the finish wont change much
