Wood cleaning article
It's mainly meant for USGI stocks, but I figured it was useful enough to post here. There seems (to me) to be alot of mixed information on the net about refinishing with no real reliable, solid methods of restoring a stock.
Don't get me wrong, if a stock was pristine I wouldn't touch it. But some of us would prefer getting the gunk, oil, and dents out of our stocks for a better look, as well as to further preserve the wood.
Any tips or other links would be helpful.
