Stock removal on 715t non-collapsible model

Has anyone removed the stock(not tube) from a Mossberg 715t non-collapsible model. I checked search and youtube and found nothing on removal.

I think some guys on the Mossberg owners forum just ended up cutting off the fixed stock. Might be the way to go if you are not able to work out the locking pin, or have no intention of putting the stocker back on.

...you could try PM'ing "zelly". He had the fixed stock model. I removed my collapsible stock and sent it to him so he could do the swap. He may have some tips for you.
