Hi folks, quick smith / woodwork check:
I'm looking for someone to do a quality stock repair for a crack and some finish scuffs.
I got this rifle in a trade, and all seemed well at first...the obvious scuffs were there, but I hadn't noticed this crack:
In short, I'm hoping that I can find someone to repair this and clear the scuffs in the finish:
Reason why I want to salvage this stock is because it has a quality decelerator recoil pad nicely fitted on it and the rifle was rebarrelled to .458wm by Bevan King...barrel being nicely floated from this stock. No point in heading back at the guy I got it from, he's either banned or will be shortly (Jeremy, apparently)
