I have a Rem700 20in HB barreled action I want to setup as a practical coyote gun. Looking for a stock to make the gun easy carrying but remain a practical shooter. Mounting a compact fixed 10x Elite scope.

I will be carrying it on foot, ATV, sled etc and will shoot over a pack or other improvised rests and or from supported sling positions mostly.

Thinking of an urban or winter camo job too.

Pics of anything you have or have seen would be great.

Arguably the least inexpensive and effective option you would have is to buy an HS Precision Rem 700 LTR take off stock. I have (1) .223 LTR and (2) custom rifles in .243 Win. and .300 Blackout built on these stocks. IMHO, they're an ideal choice for what you're looking to do.

I agree the ltr stock would be ideal. Also if you want to be different have it dipped in what ever camo you want so it's not just black on black.
