The more i try to stack the faster it seems to disappear?????buying bulk doesn't work ..........rifles,pistols shotguns the insationable appetite they all seem to have !Mine all seam to be ammo holics!
It all starts as a few bricks of 22's a few cases of shotgun or pistol then reloading ,then the denial.......then the acceptance .
Your on your way to a good start!
keep up the good work!

I figure I have enough ammo to hold off an invading country for several days, even with help. Some of you know my other "motto" -- Two things you never want to run low on - a$$wipe and ammunition!!!!!

I remember when Century arms was closing up (I didn't know that at the time though) and they had 7.62x54r and 8mm, both $110/1000. It was unadvertised. I originally called to buy 1k, but ended up getting 6k of ammo. Ahhhh....those happy days - too bad I was in school and that was stretching my budget. Guess there are alot of stories of should have bought more. We'd all be millionares if we had the foresight of how much things would go up (ammo, real estate) and down (like pet rocks:confused:) in value.

yeah..and they had the Norinco AK mags for $4.99...and lots of similar deals .....

olegs69...

I'm sorry to be the one breaking the news to you, but you just reached stage one of compulsive ammunition ording disorder.

In stage 2, you will realize that you can have more ammo for the same $ if you reloaded... then you'll be spending twice the money to buy reloading gears.

In stage 3, you will have the urge to buy better/faster reloading press... so that you can output more rounds and recuperate your investement faster.

In stage 4, you will start oarding components... just to be certain your press can always be ran at full capacity (should you decide to do so)

In stage 5, you'll start buying/scrunging brass/dies/bullets for caliber you don't even own (just in case)

In stage 6, you will find yourself taking hundreds (if not thousands) or rounds to the range for various shooting sessions... Your friends will think you have gone crazy... But you know how important it is to rotate your old stock with fresh ammo (and you also needed the brass to reloads)

In stage 7, your local gun stores will be calling you, to see if they can tag along on your next order or ammunition and supplies...

:D

Better inform your spouse of the situation as soon as possible, there are no known cure!

1000 more rounds of .223 and 250 more of 12 guage.
Snapping up 200 units of brass of .308 from EE.

Not good.
I have a problem.

Ha ha ha. Too funny. I've got 4000 or so rounds not counting 9mm or 22lr and still watch fo deals all the time. I buy ammo like groceries. "Hmm, I getting down to 1000 .223, I better pick up some more... what the hell, gimme some 7.62- x 54, 39 whatever... I feel normal until I see my reflection in the wide eyes of one of my buddies when I'm showing him part of my stash (the decoy part, of course...) We'll see who's crazy when the Russian zombie terrorist alien mofo's come to town...

starting to look at more 22 shells I have 2 cases of yellow jackets and abou 12 bricks of assorted brands. As soon as the new 22 gets here I'll find out what it likes & get a couple cases for it. Much nicer to go to the locker & grab shells than try to find something at a local store. Even stuff I reload for, I have lots of factory ammo for. I like many here are ammo pigs. I have 1500 rd of 9mm. I have yet to get one. AJ

Of course not. You are, however, in the market for a new gun, right? Right?

I had a Tavor for 2 weeks and sold it . Might get another one if can am can bring some tools to go with it . Or maybe an AR if i can get my hands on something nice withouth getting ripped off .

You sold the tavor? Shame on you. You're supposed to buy guns, not sell them. I would never sell a gun. But I wish I could have bought your tavor! :D
