I keep a bunch of pig stickers with my ammo as back up. You know the drill: Bang, bang, click click click. Of sh*t, fix bayonet and be prepared to make your last stand.

LOL..........you guys are funny with your ammo hording, but while I was in my local sporting goods store I inquired about "bulk" pricing on 12 gauge shotgun shells as well as 9mm. Dont laugh, but he asked if id be interested in buying a pallet of 9mm ammo. A pallet is 120 or so CASES of ammo. If anybody is interested, I can go back and ask him how much? :D

I did manage to come out with:
50rds 2.75" 12 gauge target loads
500rds .22LR
50rds 124gr FMJ 9MM

Still waiting for my key to the gun range so no bang bang until then. Im sure i'll end up buying more again......soon :dancingbanana:

I have the dies, 200 hard cast 350 gr bullets, powder and 75 shells for 45/70 and I don't have one.. but one day I will.

I know it's not like lots of you guys, but it's still about 20 pounds of stuff for a gun I don't have.

and Strangeday, wow... just wow.

I have a modest horde, nothing like strangeday though

2000 22lr
1500 .223
2500 5.56 nato
1500 .308
2000 7.62x39
250 assorted 12 ga
50 .40 s&W

Let's just say that I have a whole room with nothing but ammo cans, FULL. I keep buying empty ammo can's, but somehow they get filled. One of these days I really think the floor is going to fall in! With the price of ammo, I have always stockpiled to the extreme, and glad I have!

I am a certified ammo hoarder, never too much ammo. Could supply several small countries I am sure for a good skirmish!

I've got .303 Brit covered for awhile....

Still trying to fathom how long it would take to actually shoot all of that.
wow.

I seriously need to go shopping.

Me too, i shot about 5000 rds with some fairly long gopher shooting afternoons this year....

I couldnt afford to have $2000 of 22LR in the basement :D lol

Hmm, wouldn't hurt to see what kind of deal he'd give you. Purely as an academic exercise, you understand... :)

But I am getting low on 9mm, under 500 rds now. Doesn't feel good!
