My recent project has some really nice wood hiding under 47 years of crud.I was pleasantly surprised when I stripped it down to discover this nice grain in the walnut stock.
Post up some pictures of your 22's with really nice wood.

I am also a member of RCgroups and it allows posting pictures directly from my hard drive to any of my posts. No need for third party photo hosting.

I hope the owner of CGN can fix this site to do the same.

Here's a Schultz and Larsen single shot 22 that I got from Tradex a few years ago. The wood was dark and grimy, so I cleaned it up and put a bunch of linseed oil on it. I think it turned out alright.

This is what it looked like when I got it.

I suppose CGN, being a limited market or regional forum, doesnt have as much advertising revenue as the other web forums.

Notice how cgn has no ads? Just the sponsored companies? I bet that has a lot to do with it. For instance, I just checked out RCgroups, and there is an ad banner at the bottom(currently showing me a Lexus car ad).

There are quite a few sites that will tolerate third party hosting, such as tinypic, snapagogo, etc. I used to use Photo Flucket until they got greedy, ad's and all. Pretty annoying site just before The End.

Some nice looking wood there guys.grauhanen I think we need a close up of the 1408ed. I know you have a beauty there. I like that Schultz and Larson.
