Stocks

That's true, it's not all about the money, but what I mean is, the F-Class I shot wasn't long range so there wasn't too much physics involved, and there are no limits. You can have literally anything short of a vice (I think you could probably use a vice if you wanted to). You have to know how to use it, of course, but it's not mainly skill. You don't need nearly the amount of skill that it takes to win a TR-Class match or a Service Rifle match. Keep in mind I'm talking about the matches I shot in which weren't out to long range.

Rohann I think you should stop digging, your hole is plenty deep already.
I know you are not trying to offend anyone, I think you just do not fully realize how much skill and disipline is involved, to truly be competitive , even with all the gizmos that are allowed in F class, it is not nearly as easy as it appears. None of the real competitive sports are that easy to be the best, or even in the top 100, thats where the real challenge lies, in getting into the top end of the field.

I'm interested in the stocks Robertson Composites have, but I have a hard time picturing them in my head as the only pictures you have to look at on the site are the uninstalled frames. It would help if I could get some shots of the finished product that some of you may have.

I started a thread in photo gallery for this. If any of you could help me out that would be awesome.

Ian is a very good guy to deal with, I just ordered one of his for my wifes new toy. We asked him to send us some pics of his stocks wearing iron and he was more than accomadating, Im sure if you ask or give him an Idea of what your interest is he would be more than happy to hook ya up. When the wifes rifle is finnished we will be posting pics of it.

cerickson - you are in Ottawa. Why don't you either make an appointment to see Ian's stocks, or go out to Connaught when the NCRRA are doing some practice shooting. There will be Robertson stocks in use. I have 3 Robertsons. They are as good as any synthetic stock made, period.
Rohann - F class seems easier, after all the rifle is supported, and if the conditions are favourable, shooting 6s doesn't seem much of a challenge. But every other competitor will be shooting a rifle and ammunition capable of shooting clean - so ultimately it is the skill of the shooter that matters.

I'm in the middle of writing my thesis, don't have a vehicle or a way to get there, and am leaving for BC in two weeks.

If I get some time I might head over to their place. Pics would still be nice to look at anyway

Excellent shots thanks!

Hopefully if I can get out your way I'll drop by and see whats available for future business.

Thanks again
