Don't think the duties have anything to do with Stockeys. That's our border "services". In my experience, it's hit-or-miss, sometimes they nail ya, many times not.I got dinged pretty good with duties when I ordered mine. I wouldn’t order from them directly again. Maybe get something local that is more expensive if that’s an option.
No they don’t but it still makes it not worth it in my opinion. The stock I received is very light and stiff seems to reduce recoil a bit. The fit and finish was not very good. I understand that all stocks require some inletting but this one needed a LOT. There were areas that were not painted that wouldn’t be covered by the action, air bubbles that weren’t covered. Just a bunch of stuff like that. I would try MDT or wildcat next time depending on the build. YMMV.Don't think the duties have anything to do with Stockeys. That's our border "services". How much were the duties? How much was the base purchase?I got dinged pretty good with duties when I ordered mine. I wouldn’t order from them directly again. Maybe get something local that is more expensive if that’s an option.
I forget to be honest but I remember them being high in comparison to the price of the stock. You can look up the prices and figure it out. I’m not sure if tariffs are effecting things or not. Hard to keep track of that. How much were the duties? How much was the base purchase?
Was it duties or UPS/Fedex extortion fees?I forget to be honest but I remember them being high in comparison to the price of the stock. You can look up the prices and figure it out. I’m not sure if tariffs are effecting things or not. Hard to keep track of that.
Any more info on this? I'd love to get one of the Stocky's stocks for my Howa mini action if there is someone that is importing them.Lee out of blackie brings them in
