My Stoeger M2000 just crapped the bed again. This is the second time I have had a problem with it. I was able to fix the first problem myself, but now something new has come up. My Stoeger will not feed and cycle rounds properly. I can manually put one round in the chamber and fire it, but that's it.. won't feed from the mag tube. I noticed that the end broke off this black piece, but I don't know what it's called

I contacted Stoeger Canada, but they haven't answered me yet. Does anyone know what the black piece is called so I can order one from Brownells or someplace? I couldn't find info on the black piece in the parts diagram.

I had the same problem with my Stoeger. My first problem was that it would not cycle when pointed staright up and fired. On the level was fine.

Month later that thingy broke. Got rid of gun.

Had one that worked well also though, so I guess it's luck of the draw

Stoeger Canada emailed me today to say they received my email ( which I sent on Tuesday ), and that they will pass it up to the service department on Monday. On Sunday I am going to use some JB Weld to make the carrier latch a little longer, and hand file it to the proper length. Hopefully this will do the trick and fix things until Stoeger can send me a new part.

I have the part's in stock if i can find it, because i have to change this part 3 or 4 time for native in the great north, this is a real weakness. All the one that i have changed broke around the puch knob (not the black part, the bright metal part)

Johnny, be wary about sending in your gun to them, I think I may have gotten one of their guys canned as I ended up talking with the head guy in Canada due to my customer service nightmare. Anyhow, if need be, let me know, can forward the plant manager's name and number to you if need to complain about their service.
