Well I managed to get out fire a few out of it. I put a bunch of Winchester and Federal #4 3" steel , Winchester and Federal BB 3", Kent 1oz #8's, 7/8 oz handloads, Winchester 2 3/4" 1oz slugs and finally some Winchester Featherlight 1 oz reduced recoil slugs. In a nutshell everything but the 7/8 oz handloads and reduced recoil slugs functioned flawlessly, these light loads either failed to eject or failed to feed the next round, this MAY change once the gun has a bunch more rounds down the tube.
The Federal steel loads and Winchester full power slugs shot about 8" left at 40 yds. The Winchester steel loads shot centre but a bit lower and the patterns weren't as consistant as the Federals
I found my right cheek bone took a little bit of a battering from the heavy loads, which is a first for me. I have shot a lot of 3" steel and slugs out of my 870's over the years and never had problem with my cheek getting smacked.
Hopefully tomorrow I will get out and harass some geese and see how it fairs.
On the whole I am quite impressed so far, I am hoping it tendency to shoot left doesn't become a big issue. One other thing to note after about 100 rounds the action/receiver was still clean as a wistle, unlike my 1100.
