Stoeger Condor 1 reviews?

I was hoping for some reviews on the 12g Stoeger Condor 1. It's about 15-20 yrs old. A fellow co-worker purchased it brand new, shot it a few times and has gotten out of firearms. It's in mint shape comes with a case and sling. Anyone have any issues with them? He wants $300, is that a fair price?

For the money they are OK. It really depends on what you are looking to do with it. If you are doing high volume shooting - skeet/trap, I would look elsewhere. If just some upland walking it would suit alright.

BTW- I did own one but didn't keep it for long as my volume of shooting is higher than I suspect the gun could sustain.
 
I would like it for skeet and hunting. So it's not well suited as a long term hunting shotgun? That's what I'm looking for
 
I have one in a 410 for bird hunting and a little trap shooting. A decent entry level o/u but I wouldn't suggest putting 1000 rounds through it a week, don't think they are built for that. I have read that some have had the second barrel fail to fire but I have not experienced this. $300 is a good price for one in mint shape, I got mine last year for $413 on sale and now I see they have jacked the regular price up to $550.
