I'm interested in the Stoeger Condor Outback, but was wondering about its non-selective trigger:

In this model, the bottom barrel fires first, then the recoil (inertia trigger) allows the top barrel to be engaged.
I'm thinking of using it with an IC choke and slug in the top barrel (so that the impact would be closed to point of aim), and a Modified choke and shot in the bottom barrel.
Is there a way to fire from the top barrel, such as to fire the slug for long range shots, without having to fire the bottom barrel first?
If the bottom barrel is left empty, is it possible to fire the top barrel only (as a single-shot gun)?
Can this shotgun be modified to have a selective trigger (allowing the choice of top or bottom barrel to fire first)?
