I'll say the opposite. I had one and it was a piece of s#it from the word go. I brought it home from Calgary, cleaned it then tried two snap caps. The extractor slipped over the rims. I had to ship it out East for repair and it never fired a shot. I got it back from Stoeger with 2 new scratches. I hunted with it twice. On the first trip, I had a misfire. On the second trip, the inertia hammers reset on the first shot, giving me a single shot. I never returned it, I traded it back at the store I bought it from for an 870 and I will never look back. Garbage, plain and simple.
