I can't seem to find my answer anywhere on the internet.

I often see "Stoeger-IGA" or "IGA" choke tubes. It's usually only in reference to the Stoeger coach SXS or the upland O/U. What is IGA? My best guess is it's something to do with the Brazilian manufacturer/counterpart.

I G A
Current trademark with manufacturing facilities located in Veranopolis, Brazil (O/U and SxS shotguns only), and by Vursan Manufacturing (semi-auto shotguns only) beginning in 2000, located in Istanbul, Turkey. Currently imported by Stoeger Industries, Inc. located in Accokeek, MD. Previously located in Wayne, NJ.
During 2000, Stoeger Industries was purchased by Beretta USA Corp., located in Accokeek, MD. Guns manufactured before 2000 were made by E.R. Amantino, located in Brazil, and were marked I G A/E.R. Amantino. Currently manufactured shotguns have Stoeger markings. Amantino still makes O/U and SxS guns for Stoeger, but guns made since 2002 may be marked E.R. Amantino and/or Stoeger.
Please refer to the Stoeger Industries section for recently manufactured shotguns.

I think this answers your question, no guarantee.

*I know nothing about these shotguns. Bored at work, 5 minutes on google lol*

I searched a variety of search terms around IGA shotguns and I couldn't find anything like that. The only things coming up were vendor pages selling the gun. What is the source of that quote? Does it say anything about what IGA stands for? I'd guess it's probably a Brazilian acronym.

Thanks

Also: on Cabelas website they refer to the IGA as the choke, which led to my confusion. (https://www.cabelas.ca/product/27815/stoeger-condor-12-gauge-over-under-shotgun)

IC and M screw-in IGA choke tubes included.

IGA is that grocery store they try to claim is a supermarket but is the size of a 7/11. A Joke is really what they are. You know EMEI who makes the Type 97? They also make cookies. You can find them at T&T Supermarket.

Industria Gaucha de Armas?

That's probably it, thanks. I was confused because it looked like a Stoeger-IGA Coach was a separate model than the Stoeger Coach (same with the Condors). I thought it might be a model with different choke tubes. I know that most Stoeger coach guns are fixed chokes, but I noticed that some have interchangeable choke tubes. Some have single trigger and some double. Some are silvered (Silverado).
