Stoeger love out there?

The only time I really notice recoil is trap shooting with heavy loads, sometimes I will trap shoot with 3" goose loads just to see how I do. When hunting I never notice a shot, and I use a pump so there is nothing to stop the recoil. I have found (through owning close to 40 different shotguns) that if a gun doesn't fit you well, you will always be fighting recoil and getting beat up. I have had 20 gauge guns that felt like I was getting punched in the cheek with target loads. Worst was a Baikal 20g sxs, and it weighed over 7lbs! I sold it because it beat me up every time I shot it.

I have a m3000 I bought 4 years ago now. Been through 4 waterfowl season and lots of trap shooting there has been thousands of rounds thru it and it's still going strong. The only issue I have had with mine gets FTE with light challenger trap loads and 3 inch BB Winchester super x. eats everything else. I have put a mid range Carson choke and high viz sight on it. I highly recommend those. Other then that buy lots of shell and have fun.

I have a MK3 which I used for 3gun. I have done lots of work to it. Port enlarge, extended tube, custom follower, Taran Tactical accuguide extended carrier and a few other Benelli springs.
My wife has a M3000 which she uses for trap and loves it.

What I like about them is the inertia drive. Easy to clean and maintain just keep them well oiled.
If you break anything you can go to Stoeger Canada and order what ever you need.
My MK3 hates Challenger jams won't eject some times, but shoots Score like a champ.
My wife's M3000 looks like it will shoot anything, but she only puts at most 2 in at a time.

Like everyone said just get out and shoot it. Have some fun.

I put a LimbSaver #10008 on mine and it made it a much nicer gun to shoot. It required some fitting but was worth it. Also added a Nordic +4 tube and follower, as well as replaced the front site with a HiViz unit.

I just came back from the range today as my friend just bought one last week. It feels very good and I tried doing a few diff type of ammo it shoot the #8 Challenger no problem so I think he is gonna load up with this ammo.

Is there any aftermarket stock he can replace?

Mr sparkle, I will be putting on a +1 or 2, as well. They balance this gun nicely, though not the most uselful in our country. Starting to shop for one now.
I have a shell holder just like that on mine and it works great

You can't go wrong with the Nordic Components mag extension and follower. Contact Casey at TacOrd - great guy to deal with (that's where I got my NC accessories).
