Hello,

I just recently purchased the Stoeger M3500 and am debating whether to get the Steady Grip Stock as I plan to do a lot of turkey hunting.

If anyone has, what is your opinion on it? I couldn't find anywhere that had it in stock to look at.

Also, if you think it is worthwhile, does anyone know where has it in stock.

Thanks,

All the turkeys I have shot have been with regular stocks. Ive held steady grips and fired them on the farm, but I couldn't see myself going out of my way to purchase one when I have a perfectly good stock. I like to keep it simple and like the traditional look of shotguns. It's your money though... just saying you could save the cash and buy a really nice turkey decoy, call, and vest(I don't personally use vests) for the money you wanna dish out in a new stock. My 2cents.

I use an ati 6 position stock on a mossberg 535 and love it. It allows my hand and forearm to take a lot of the recoil from my 600 gr brenneke slugs and 3.5" OOBUCK. I also use it on a 500 with a front pistol grip for skeet and bunny hunting. I'm not sure about the stoeger one but I like the steadiness of a full pistol grip. With practice you can shoot low gun skeet just as well as a traditional stock
