Are they availiable now in Canada, anybody saw or handled them in person? interested in this shotgun. Planning to order from MOA PRECISION down south with their enhanced upgraded semi custom built ( not sure of the right term) and will let Phrophet River or IRG do the importation.
Any comments or suggestion would be nice. thanks

member of Brian Enos too, but most of the discussion is more on the M300, interested more on the M3K

since were talking about Stoeger, how about the M3500 or M3000, what kind of mods to make it desirable( reliability, loading- port and lifter,)

From what I've gleaned off the thread on Enos, most guys are opening up the loading port and throwing a mag extension and they seem to work good. Some guys are saying they have polished the mag tube so the recoil spring operates with less friction, allowing them to run lighter loads. I've also read (and in my experience so far) that the lifter is good to go out of the box, with no modification required.

I know that Jesse Tischauser runs an M3000 with minimal mods.

Jesse T doesnt need any mods, he is the mods, lol
kidding aside, I did some math on the MOA M3000 base on their website, with all the mods and upgrades ,importation fee ,shipping plus dollar conversion, your seeing abou $1200.00 min. I might be wrong, MOA seems doesnt have the enthusiasm in answering my inquiries, I emailed them my intentions and plans even the mods that I want, its been 5 days and havnt heard from them again. Maybe will just get an 1301 here loca

I was in the same boat a you a few months ago. I emailed Stoeger directly about the M3G. They told me they have no plans on bringing it into Canada this year. IRG was not committal as they don't currently carry Stoeger. Could not afford an auto, so I bought a SuperNova and i'm having it worked on to make it more race ready.

For what it's worth - there is a lot of discussion on the BrianEnos thread about cutting/fitting the magazine tube to get the Benelli SuperNova magazine extension to fit. I think this was early on. I got a Nordic magazine extension, now available for the Stoeger M3000/M3500, that just screwed on without any fitting or sanding etc.

some models of the M3000 is not compatible with the Nordic, MOA manufactures and sells Adaptors for the Nordic mag ext.

I've been running 2 m3000's exclusively for most of the shotgun matches here in Ontario. I had issues with light slugs before but resolved the issues by making sure that the polished mag tube and bolt stay well lubed. I've also had issues with what I thought to be bump firing when I didn't shoulder the gun properly, but after further inspection of the trigger group I believe I have a worn out disconnector. I swapped out the trigger group from the newer m3000 for the Nordic Components match in MN last week and had no issues.
Another squad mate at the match was using Pat Kelleys P3K and I have to admit that I had less issues than he did. Could have been ammo issues or the fact that it was a platform he was unfamiliar with. Having said that, all the go fast parts would not have helped out my game. Knowing my gun kept me running all weekend and hopefully gets me through the rest of the year.
