I am thinking of buying a semi auto shotgun and wanted to know if any has had any experience with the Stoeger model 2000.

Any help would be appreciated

I have one and I love it!!I purchased it used from another Gunnut.I hear it's very important to follow instructions for proper break in.I hear of some troubles that folks had with them, but mine has never jammed.:)

I have had mine for four years now. Round count unknown but up there. I purchased the wood stock model just because I thought it was nicer than the synthetic. Never failed to fire, never failed to eject, never failed to feed. I use it for trap as well as all hunting applications. It is one of those shotguns that I can just use for what it was made for and not worry about the odd scrape or ding.

My only complaint is that the choke tubes that came with the gun look and feel cheap IMHO. I have purchased better quality aftermarket extended chokes.

+1 to all above.....got mine at least 5 years. Always goes bang, never fails to cycle reliably....everything from walmart cheapies 2.75 to 3". Everything functions 100% in this gun.

I recently bought a used walnut stocked one from the EE, I am the third owner and the round count is unknown to me. I have put 2 flats of cheap, light #7.5 target loads and maybe 100 rounds of #2 high speed steel through it. So far it's been perfect and Ilike the way it feels and swings.
