Stoeger Outback on the way

yeah, there's the 'suggested' price from the dealer and then there's what wanstalls is actually going to charge us.

Remember - I walked in and asked if he could get one, it's not like they had them on the shelves already :) but I knew they dealt in stoegers so I figured maybe the supplier could get one for me. And sure enough. I don't think gary had even seen or heard of them before I bugged him about it. So they have to see what they can do on pricing. I could have waited around and found out but I was a little rushed that day so I told him we'd figure out the details later.
 
They are $549 when they land...Ive ordered 2 in (one for Foxer) and one for us to have at the store. If anyone else is interested PM and Ill see if I can add on to the order. (without delaying Foxers of course);)

That's the plan. It's threaded for chokes so i'll have to see how it does with different chokes and slugs, but i'll definitely be giving it a try.
 
What sort of chokes do they take? Hopefully they arent proprietary.

Well stoeger chokes aren't hard to get, but i believe they are the same as winchester chokes. Most stoeger over/unders take those winchesters. I'll check when i get it.
 
I had one in blue walnut finish 12 gauge I hated it, The sxs guns are alot nicer with smoother actions.
