Hey all,

Well I am looking to buy a nice 12 gauge before April and I am starting to look now for what is a decent gun. I am looking at the Labaron site and they have a Stoeger P350 for like $369 and the camo one for like $392. Basically I would like to know if it's a good gun.

I am on a budget so I can't be getting like $1000 shotguns. It comes with all the chokes and I would be using it for Turkey hunting this year so it would be fun. Is there something better in the same price range or should I end my hour old search and decide on this shotgun?

Oh yeah. what about barrel lenth? I am not too sure if there is a huge differance from a 26" to a 28" barrel or a 24" to a 26" barrel.

Thanks guys

the Stoeger P-350 is essentially a Benelli design made in Turkey. (Beretta owns both the Benelli and Stoeger) In the Stoeger 2000 auto, another Benelli designed shotgun, rumour has it that less Stoegers are returned for warranty work than the original guns made in Italy by Benelli.

I've not yet handled one but they sure got my interest peaked at that price in camo with a 24" barrel. It's very light shotgun at just over 6 3/4 lb and you're sure to feel those 3 1/2 turkey loads kick back! If they also made a rifled deer barrel for the P-350 they might get me to plunk my money down.

I guess someone needs to take the plunge and tell us how they shoot.;)

I was out yesterday with a hunting buddy and he has one with camo all over and synth. stock

Says he got it 'cause his Beretta got rusty using it in the salt marshes.
