Hi!

I was looking at the stoeger m2000 at 450$ but its avail at shooters choice for 750$ and the stoeger 3500 is avail for 750$ at bass pro.

Checked sites and no better pricing found.. but is it really worth the 750$ for the 3500?

I want a semi auto for trap and skeet as a mid range beginner shotgun .. don't want a break or pump action or o/u.

Would settle for pump in a 28" model+ that's around 200-300...

Any suggestions?

Also the best ammo price I've found is 12g 2 3/4 7 or 4 at 100 for 30$... any better pricing out there bulk?

Ive got an older stoeger m2000 that i bought new about 8 years ago. You cant jam the thing, it cycles everything due to a light recoil spring. It also kicks a bit too because of this and you feel it after 100 rounds of even cheap target loads.
Yeah i think 30 for 100 rounds is about as good as it gets unless you can find a sale somewhere.
 
I've used the P3500 hunting a few times and it's a really clean hunting gun, but that being sad for 750 i'd be looking around for something else. Thats just my opinion.

12 gauge target loads are depending on your locationg I guess, just north of Toronto you get flats (250 rounds) for 55 bucks.
 
Ended up going super cheap entry lvl weather by pa 07
8 a upland pump 28", 3". Bass pro had 250 flats for 64$.

I'll invest in a better semi auto once I get into the sport and save my pennies now for either cz858 or Jr carbine or something else...

If you look around at all, you should find target loads for around $60 per flat.(250) A pump action works well for singles trap, but it is not a good choice for learning to shoot skeet.
 
OMG!!! Run, run!!! Never buy a recoil operated for skeet and trap!!! Especially 3.5" version!!! They will not reliably shoot light target loads.

Are you kidding me??? Who gave you that idea?

But an old Remington 1100 for this and be a happy camper!
