Stoeger shotgun barrels

I have a Stoeger SxS with 28" barrels but really want a coach gun! I've seen combo guns that come with two sets of barrels and it made me wonder if barrels are interchangeable?

Anyone know if its safe to interchange SxS barrels with the same model receiver?

Even if you can get a second set of barrels, my guess is that you'll find that by the time it's all said-and-done, you won't have saved much, if anything, over just buying a caoch gun. I bought mine used off the EE for $325.00 in perfect condition. Just look around a bit.

Barrels are usually "fitted" to a given action. There are a few makes that allow mix and match swapping, but they are usually high end, precision made models. I leave you to decide where the Stoeger lies...
