Stoeger shotguns

Have a black P-350 here, it's an excellent value. I've had no problems in a year of owning one.

The Baikal MP-153 would be a far better choice should you be looking for a cost efficient semi-auto.

My bad....thought you were looking for a semi......sorry for the misguide :)

Whats wrong with the auto loaders??, I have a Beretta ES100 Pintail, and they have the benelli inertia action and its a great gun. I was under the impression that the Stoeger used the same action, so I was thinking about getting one of the 2000,s in camo, maybe not now.

Thanks, Todd

I bought a p-350 in cammo this past August for the upcoming bird season. I didn't get a chance to pattern it but went out the first day and shot 4-5 mallards with it. I have likely put 75-100 rounds through it since opening of Duck/Goose season this year and have yet to have had a major issue. The only problem I had was an ejection issue, rack it, rack it firm and hard and you will have no issues. The finish is so-so, knocking against metal objects will cause some of it to chip. Field stripping and cleaning a cinch (remove the trigger group once in awhile for thourough cleaning or after a rainy hunt, other than that a spray and wipe down with G96, bore snake after each trip out is all she gets. Been using Fed. 3" #2 for ducks and 3.5" BB for geese. Watch out for the purists here that will critisize it since it's an off shoot of a Beretta/Bennalli etc etc, but for the price, it's a bit of a work horse, plus with the 5 chokes included, a no-brainer. I like it at much as my 1187 or 870, you can feel a slight quality difference in the machining but, I am happy with mine. Any other questions, just ask!!

My dad bought a p-350 from SIR and just loves it. Him and I have been waterfowling hard all season and it has performed flawlessly. I'm sure he's put 500 rounds through it. I'm thinking of buying one now.

my roomate has the autoloader and well lets just say the choke is fused into it...had some problems with it one day out in the field goose hunting...and if you dont load it right she wont go bang!

What do you mean "if you don't load it right"? How can you load it wrong?
I have a stoeger 2000 I have shot trap, sporting clays, skeet, 5 stand and had to load it as fast as I can in the duck marsh. It has always gone bang! I have probably 1500 rds. plus through it this year. Not one hang up with it.

Dave.

Listen there have been some minor issues with the Stoeger Semis... but nothing serious! I have seen dozens of them get hard use and only a few have had issues.
And Stoeger fixed or replaced these few problem guns everytime!

And anyone who fuses a choke into a barrel obviously has not read the owners manual and does not know what choke tube grease is for!

Exactly bigredd...he isnt the brightest guy somedays....as for the loading it the right way he told me you have to load one in the mag and rack it into the chamber if you dont it wont feed it correctly....just what I get from him I have never shot it

Bull ####...

I open the action, drop one in via the ejection port, close the action, insert two more from below into the mag and NEVER had an issue.....You just have to make sure when you rack it, you put your purse away and rack it....

Im looking at picking a p-350 any suggestions on what barrel lengh I should pick ? Im mostly huntly grouse and will use it for turkey next spring.

451.63 taxes and shipping in, I think that is a pretty good deal. I would have a hard time buying a used shotgun in the EE for that much;)
