Stoked! New Gun

I am headed over to the same dealer, to look at a couple of F-3 shotguns tomorrow. If I find one that fits me, I may try one for trap and a back up for sporting clays and skeet

I've posted this elsewhere but re-posting here because I'm so impressed;

Had the F3 out for a couple rounds at Silver Willow today. Broke 91/100 on the (easy) green course. Nowhere near that on the blue - didn't even count but I'm a very happy camper. There's an old Eastwood movie about a prototype fighter jet that was controlled by thoughts. (Firefox) The F3 ignition system is like that. You just think "now" and the target is dust. (Unless of course you think "now" while admiring the tapered rib instead of the bird)

I was impressed with the Blaser shotguns that the dealer had in stock, but the standard competition model had nowhere near enough drop at comb, the Supersport did fit, but I don't know if I could get used to the high rib. I am thinking that the Vantage would best suit me, but he had none in stock. I will be looking further into the Vantage, when I can determine that it will fit me. Overall, I was very impressed with his selection of quality target shotguns.

I spoke with Blaser USA, to get a better understanding of the stocks, and because the F-3 is modular, you can mix and match stocks, and barrels to achieve a better fit. The rep also informed me that Blaser USA is now the Canadian Distributor as well as for the USA. Blaser will however have a rep to handle Canadian orders. However, as things are still being finalized, there will be delays with orders.
