Just a heads up for anyone in the Red Deer area, anyone trying to pawn off new Hoyt Katera with a trophy ridge quiver,and a tru-glo razor sight, along with a browning BL-22 with the initials JHR in the reciever and a missing mag tube has my stuff. Report them !! My truck was broken into this AM and that was all that was taken, so much for my bowhunt today

Sorry to hear about that, but at the same time you should not have left that stuff in your vehicle. Why tempt losers.

Sick of hearing this blame the victim ####, #### the losers, they should be dealt with a little more seriously. All i got from the RCMP was a lecture and a file # over the phone, not even enough courtesy to visit the scene.

On a side note, the 22 is a 3rd generation heirloom, if you see it, please let me know asap, it is not something insurance can replace.

If you wouldn't have left the stuff in your truck you would still have it now. It's not my fault it's gone.

Nor is it mine, it is the ####### who punched in my lock and took my lawfully owned and stored property. Would it be your daughters fault if she got raped while dressing like a tramp, i doubt it. Same difference.

I think you are right...people want to blame the victims. How about we blame the asshats that want to steal other peoples stuff. :mad:
To those people who blame you for leaving stuff in your truck...what if someone broke into your house, how would you feel if other
people started at you, telling you you should have better lighting, better locks, an alarm system etc etc. wouldn't feel too good would it :(
Hope you get your stuff back, especially the family pieces.

Not necessarily true.

I installed my pop-up blind in the forest on 600 acres of PRIVATE PROPERTY 2 weeks ago. Just to get it aired out and let the deer get used to its presence.

Well, 1 week later, I return to my spot ON PRIVATE PROPERTY (600 frickin acres) to find that someone has stolen my pop-up.

So be it on private property, in your vehicle, in your home or on your person... NOTHING is sacred any more. Thieves will steal the fillings in your teeth if you don't watch out!

There is no honor among thieves nor is there amongst hunters. There is a total lack of any sort of respect in todays society. Sure there are some good people around but the we are outnumbered by the scumbags.

:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Crap...what a s**tty thing to do. I've got 2 of them that
I'm about to set up. On only 365 acres of Private land!!
If my game-cam goes missing, I'm going to lose it :runaway:
:eek::eek::eek::eek:

You'll have to set up a trail cam to watch your trail cam! What a joke, some people really suck.

I hope you get your stuff back. Have you done the tour of the local pawn shops yet? I'm surprised that they didn't want to print the truck with a gun being taken and all.

Welcome to the real world people. There are dirt bags all around and until there's something like vigilante justice or a perfect world you have to take precautions or be willing to lose your stuff. Trust me I don't condone that crap, but it's now become a sad fact of life.

Same happened to my hunting/shooting buddy Hakx. He and only he was given permission to hunt a chunk of property so he eagerly set-up his pop-up blind not fearing anyone else would be out there......WRONG, some dip$hit or dip$hits took claim to his pop-up which was of course set up in an unobvious spot.................or so you would think. Three weeks to wait for it in the mail to be stolen in less than 1 :mad:
I hope you get your goods back Vince
