While running some guys tru a challenge test today the other instructor got a text message from a friend. Turned out the guy shot a nice whitetail buck, tagged and gutted it then went for the truck. Came back and some bastich stole his deer. Some arsholes will steal anything.

That reminds me of something that happened to me a couple years ago.

I shot a sick heifer for a neighbor and He was kind enough to let me take it for coyote bait. I planted it where I wanted it about 4pm that day. By 4 pm the next day, it was gone. Snowmobile tracks and drag marks let me know what happened.

Just can't leave anything laying around these days.

Scavengers.Happened to a buddy but he caught up to the two clowns dragging it.Turns out one guy lied to his partner telling him he shot the deer.So my friend told the innocent one to check his chum's gun to see if it has be recently fired and it wasn't.Cut off their tag got deer back . Class act some people.Another fellow I know had a bull moose stolen by loggers after leaving to get help loading it after tagging.Harold........I like to leave a coin under an animals tongue if I have to leave it for any length of time.

The was a article in Ontario moster whitetails mag last year where someone cut a 12 year olds kids first deer out of a tree. They published a picture of the rack hoping someone would return it to the kid.

Thats why i shoot my deer in the bottom of deep coulees and other remote places. Thieves are generally lazy people and wouldnt go to the work.

I had one stolen from me years ago in Alberta. It was a really nice mulie buck. I went to get the key to the farmers gate and when I got back it was gone. They left the tag on the ground. I brought the tag to Alberta Wildlife and they gave me another tag to hunt with. I did have to sign a piece of paper in front of them saying that it was indeed stolen.

What a #@%?& low life asshat it takes to do this. I would have to be pretty much starving to have the guts to steal from a guy that can potentially be armed and back at any time.

I had a doe stolen last year. Shot it at last light and wasn't 100% sure of the shot. Went back in the morning and the farmer told me I missed the f#ckers by 20 mins.

I live in the city.

Suppose I should give the deer back , go clean up all the beer cans littered in the country side and return the blind I stole and put the no hunting signs back.

Oh yeah, and the neighbors 18 year old daughter that is pregnant, I did that too!

Dude... being a city boy has zip to do with where you live and everything to do with your attitiude and state of mind..... as for my mind... it is always at least 400 yards from any dwelling.... and I have mapped that.... :)
