Holy Fu@k! What a sh1t storm!

Instead of everyone getting up on their high horse and going off about trolls, why not restrict the comments to:

"Sorry you're brother got robbed buddy, I hope the pistol is recovered." And leave it at that.

I hope I'm never so gauche as to make a post here that the self-appointed thought police find offencive. :rolleyes:

I understand where you're coming from. It's true that here, good people write things they would never say face-to-face.

On the other hand, this is a group learning experience. For example, apparently, the serial number supplied by the "victim" does not match up to Glock databases.

So, either the Glock databases are incomplete, or the setup has been exposed.

I'm going to check further. This is too interesting to pass up.

So, this is a learning experience for us. It might show antis that they will have a hard time messing around with us here.

My heart goes out to you Pony- handgun theft is SERIOUS business and your brother being a double amputee and not able to post can't be good either. I assure you it doesn't make him any less a man though. Sadly, stolen handguns don't get offered to law abiding firearm owners so I'm not sure how we can best help you? Should one of us suddenly develop a drug addiction and be offered your Glock of indeterminate model at the local crack house we will be sure to alert the police and PM you immediately!

Seriously, this thread is EXACTLY why the firearm registry doesn't achieve its touted goals of stopping crime. CRIMINALS DONT OBEY GUN LAWS AND LAW ABIDING CITIZENS DONT COMMIT CRIMES. If you are for real, we feel sorry for you but can't help you- call the police.

Just so you guys don't go crazy on the search engine, I ran both Ponys and Sergeant Oddballs names and I.P.'s, they're legit with no other users showing up under the same I.P.

Sergeant Oddball is a member here but has 0 posts, thats why you can't find any posts by him......carry on.
 
Go to your local projects pick out your stereotypical gang banger who has a background in burgulary and call the cops.

On a second not this seems to be the second incident within about a week occurring in two gun hating municipalities.

Well I hope you guys who screamed TROLL etc and jumped all over this poster are happy and very proud.

The incident did take place exactly as described by the poster.

I happen to have just been made aware of it this evening (the theft) and sadly had infromed the owner about CGN a month or so ago.

Needless to say I am SOOOOo very proud of the way you all helped out in this situation.....NOT!!
