Stop the RCMP!

Magazine restrictions are absolutely ridiculous......period. That's the simple solution. Reading through different posts.....5, 10, 15, pick any number out of a hat and it wouldn't make a lick of difference in crime.

I don't own a 10/22, I don't own an AR, but I sure am not going to throw anyone under the bus just because "it wouldn't affect me".

Remember, in a Libtard world, the next step to keep things "simple" would be to prohibit any firearm with a removable mag. Honestly, I can see this being proposed within the next few years judging from the propaganda train that is against us.

OK, so you've given up. Got it.

How very Canadian of you...

I haven't "given up" at all. When this nonsense started, I joined the CSSA and bought several Butler Creek 25-round mags... and I don't even own a 10/22! What have you done? In your post, you moan and whine about the odds of getting mag limits removed, and are basically willing to settle... effectively throwing fellow gun owners under the bus.

In my response, I simply answered the guys question. There is virtually no chance the current gov't will remove mag limits. Our only chance at that would be with another majority Conservative gov't. Even then it's unlikely, but if we unite and fight hard enough, it's possible. And if we can't the Tories to remove the mag limits altogether, then perhaps they can bring it some laws with more common sense, both in regards to mag limits in specific, and firearms in general. They can certainly reel in the RCMP and CFP again.

Now what about that response was incorrect? Where was the "quit and give up" in that response?

Think before you type, mmkay?

So you had me agreeing with you until this crap about trigger happy cop dealing with in your words a psychopath on a murder spree. So you clearly buy into this liberal media and political goal of vilifying police dispite the actual facts. Look forward to seeing you on the news at a Black Lives Matter demonstration.

Yeah... my post sure sounds like I "buy into the liberal/media hype" [rolls eyes].

I just speak the truth. Most, if not all, of these mass-murders are "psychopaths" and when they commit mass-murder, it's often called a "murder spree". These are the words of many a professional and pundit alike, they are not "my words". I'm not anti-police, the fact is these mass-shootings can only end in one of three ways... either the culprit kills himself, he is taken into custody, or he is killed by the police (he's certainly not gonna be killed by a civilian... not in Canada). (I guess a 4th possibility is the culprit escaping, but that rarely, if ever happens). Now, as to the third outcome, you don't think the police want to put this guy down if they can? That is a career-maker right there... it's like discovering plutonium. That is what they train for. That is why they are armed. That is why they are the ones we call to respond to these shootings, and to try and end them. So I don't know what you find sooo offensive about my post, or why you got your panties in such a wad that you felt the need to start throwing out insults. Relax... if there is something you don't understand, just ask.

You can just get a bunch of LAR10 mags, and best case scenario, you get to have 10 rounds forever. Worst case scenario you have to pin them to 5 at some point in the future.

Yup, if 10 becomes illegal, just pin to 5.

As usual, sport shooters pin mags, and criminals do not.

History repeating itself again.

This is a systematic campaign to very slowly chip away at guns of any kind. This is not only about one thing like mag capacity but a long term effort to undermine firearms ownership as a whole. This is the time for everyone to get involved because I see sinister plans in the works behind the scenes with sad consequences.

A thirty round magazine is not high capacity, its standard capacity as per manufacturer, pinned magazines of any capacity are an outrage mainly because they do nothing to stop crime of any kind.

I agree Alexei, we have to make a stand and fight this, so we can keep at least plinking with the bigger mags, and they to get ar platforms non restricted
