Stopping Rifles, .375 - .450 - .505 Gibbs

I seem to recall seeing some .416 brass in Williams Arms in Port Perry, but it's been a while since I was in there Google should give you contact info.

Left him a message and will try back, appreciate the lead.

Calum the .505 is amongst the largest practical rifles, the 2 bore is in a class of its own, of the utterly unbelievable. Doesn't mean I wouldn't want to try it.

I bought 2 boxes for the 470 at $200 each. I'm not going to shoot them at paper though. I'm shooting hornady's for $6 and reloads for $2

I'm kicking myself for not jumping on that 450 when it was on the ee. I passed due to brass availability and didn't think about using 338 lapua. I had forgotten the lineage of the lapua.

Oh Wow !....... Was it really on the EE ?? ( Sez as he kicks himself yet again !! ) I remember seeing that RSM in 505 on the Epps site and thinking " should I or shouldn't I " and all of a sudden it sold. And the saying " You snooze ---- You lose " comes to mind.....

Very, very big thanks to twoshots this will get me rolling. Neck comes out very short but will work great for practice, and I'll save the just landed twenty Jamison properly headstamped brass for travel. Fire formed with universal, filler, and TP wad. A lot louder than fireforming little cartridges.

ok, interesting.

lots of potential for a slightly shorter lapua cased 458 wildcat here....

I'll probably stick with the 470 though.
