Storage of clay shooting guns

Anyone try a gun sock with a wee bit of G96 sprayed on the inside before going to the safe. Soft kisses.

As an aside, I brought some socked guns to Karl the retired Swiss guy many years ago.

He looked at the socks and some dumb ass asked if they would fit his wife? Dear Rita was in the next room, and was actually amused.

Yes...I have so ! Sprayed a few of the older ones I have had for a long time. Seems to linger well..Love the smell too...lol

I have three guns specifically used for clay targets. A highly engraved Perazzi mx8 mirage, a Perazzi mx8 sporting and a Beretta 687 EELL Silver Pigeon Sporting. They’re thorough cleaned everytime they’re used. Wiped with G96 and stored in Americase,Negrini and an SKB hard cases just so they don’t suffer abuse in the gun safes.

I have a fitted case but feel my guns are "safer" in the safe.
