Can the powders and primers be stored in there original containers in a locked metal cabinet(painted) or does it need to be in a wood or plastic cabinet?

wondering out loud.... how was it stored at the place you bought it from? On a metal shelf in the original container from any place I have bought from...

Just keep it stored separately from your loading bench in a locked cabinet is best.. steel is okay the regs have changed with respect to having or needing a wooden box.

I believe the reason it should be kept in a wooden vs steel container is so that in the case of a fire, it will vent off and burn up vs creating an essential bomb. I think if I was a fireman I would not want any sudden explosions of steel shrapnel coming at me......
