I'm thinking about entering the wonderful world of AR ownership, the only problem is that I live in an apartment and don't have room for a full size storage safe.
My question is, since only the lower receiver is the actual registered part of the rifle would removing the upper and stock, and storing the lower receiver in my smaller handgun safe be sufficient storage under the law?
