Storage sleeves ,socks or options for storage in a safe,

There are some soft fabric triangular-shaped zip bags I have seen occasionally.

Or, some people have gone all out put foam/fabric over a wooden frame and made a pistol rack with slim dividers between each slot.

I use one of their gun rugs for my Smith & Wesson 586. I think it was about $10 from General Gun.

Shoe bags ... the ones you get when you buy a good pair of shoes, like this one (pic borrowed from online, but I use similar):

There is also the 5 gun "rack" holder from Bass Pro / Cabelas. Its just a stand with 4 or 5 "slots" to have handguns more organized. 20$ ish from Bass Pro, works great if you have limited space in your safe. Has a rubber type coating so its fairly easy on the contact points where your guns will rest.

I recycle bubble wrap bags (sheets of bubble wrap formed as bags) that are leftover from work I do. They work great but may not be the best solution in a humid environment as any moisture would be trapped inside. It is incredibly dry here so that isn't a problem. I have also purchased a few 'Bore-Store' cloth pistol bags for some of my antiques. They work really well too.
