I don't want to start anything but I think its stupid how its worded.

"•Attach a secure locking device, such as a trigger lock or cable lock (or remove the bolt) so the firearms cannot be fired"


When I read that I think if the bolt isn't in the action then its safe.

Thats what it makes me think.

I agree the wording of many laws we have are stupid... you would think all the lawyer/politicians could do better...

But in reality a bolt out of an unlocked non restricted firearm does not render that firearm disabled if the bolt is laying there ready to be installed.

This thread is going no where fast... The simplest legal methods have been already been stated...use a locking device.
