Storing guns in walk in humidor?

I have a walk in humidor that has a state of the art locking system and alarm etc and would be an ideal place to put my guns. My question is can you store guns and ammo in a humidor or will the humidity and temperature have a negative effect?

"...will the humidity and temperature..." The temperature won't matter much, but the humidity will cause rust. Can you shut the humidifier part off and still have the alarm(not required, but certainly doesn't hurt) and locks? If so, you're all set, assuming the thing is hard to break into. As in no glass. If there is glass you'd need trigger locks. Just like in a glass fronted gun cabinet.
