Very exciting news...

Customers can now order their Storm Lake Barrels (including options like porting, threading and even custom "Canadian" 106mm barrels) directly from the Storm Lake website... thus making it easier and faster for customers to get exactly what they need without having to go through any additional steps or delays.

Best of all... by ordering direct you'll save money!

Simply go on-line... find the barrel you need... place your order... pay using the secure on-line shopping cart and then wait for your barrel to arrive at your address (delivered by Canada Post expedited parcel, signature service, insured).

Questar International has completed an agreement with Storm Lake Barrels to handle all exports to Canada. The Storm Lake website has been updated to automatically recognize Canadian customers (addresses) and to add a flat $49 per barrel import/export fee that covers all of the export, customs, tax and Canadian delivery charges. The price you pay to Storm Lake covers everything and the barrel will be delivered to your address... no additional charges owing.

Let me get this straight Mark. Instead of being the exclusive distributer of Storm Lake Barrels, and having customers pay extra charges to you for being the "middle man", you make a deal with Storm Lake to bypass you (and profits) so customers can buy directly and save themselves money?

We make money... but now Storm Lake pays us... the customer doesn't have to.

Good deal for everyone.

I understand the profit part...but the fact that you went to all that trouble for your consumers... further reason why I keep buying from you......
 
just as an aside guys, storm lake makes canada legal barrels for the following pistols too.

It's $49 per barrel to cover the various costs associated with the import... permits, customs clearance, GST, shipping, insurance, etc.

Orders ship as they are ready so if they come together we import together if they come at different times then we import and ship as they arrive (no hold-up or waiting).

Quite a few people have already used the "Direct Purchase" that we setup with Storm Lake... allowing you to buy directly from their website and have it delivered to your door here in Canada (all costs paid).

I'm just wondering if we can get some feedback on how you found the Storm Lake on-line order procress? Was it simple and straight forward? Or were there any issues?

Just want to "tweak" the system if required...

Just to be clear...

The US shipping was @ $10 per barrel PLUS the $49.95 Canadian import/export charges, (to cover permits, customs clearance, customs charges and Canadian shipping costs so that the barrel arrived at your door in Canada all paid and done).

That's a pretty good deal if I do say so myself :dancingbanana:

Email Storm Lake and ask them directly... when you buy from their website you are buying from them... it's up to them what offers they make and who they extend them to.

We have nothing to do with that.

Hot spit! My 106mm recoilless rifle has been shot out, what with gopher season being so long in Saskatchewan ....;)

I emailed twice, a couple days apart; both a few weeks ago, with no response... yet. :confused:

Could be a rude 'no', but doubt they'd do that to a preferred customer.



::EDIT:: Dave just confirmed he'll include a utility knife with my order. Dance banana, dance!
