just started making loads for 9 mm and am having some problems with them
at first i made 5 to make sure they would feed went out and shot them they all stovepiped then i compared them to factory loads that i had and i had loaded thes bullets to max overall lengthso the next set went in to match factory ammo length i took them out and tried them and they fed fine so i loaded up 150 of them took them out today and only 1 or 2 of them fed properly and didnt stovepipe
the gun is a springfield xd-9 tactical
the load taken directly out of speer # 13
speer 125 gr lead bulk bullets 500pk
4.1 g win 231 powder
cci small pistol primer
the only diff between the test frired rounds and the ones i did today is i had a laser on the gun for the test rounds could the weight of the laser be allowing more recoil to go into working the action instead of moving the frame
like how a limp wristed shooter willhave feed problems
