Anyone know where I might find a straight comb stock for a Remington 1100? I'd like to build a poor man's trap gun out of an old 1100 receiver I have. I already have a low vent rib 2 3/4" barrel with a mid bead, so I think that a Monte Carlo style stock would be too high. Any help or opinions would be great, thanks.

Try the Equipment Exchange ... Exchange of Parts & Bits ...

i.e. WTB - Remington Trap Sock

Read the rules & apply ... that's what the exchange is for.

I already have an add there beretta boy, I just thought I'd try here, since this forum would have the most learned people for trap. I wasn't intending to sell or buy on this forum, just looking for some direction as to where I might search. I apologize if my thread implied otherwise ;).

Try Western Gun Parts in Edmonton. www.westerngunparts.com. They usually have a good supply of used and factory surplus stocks and ship the next day.

A thorough search on e-bay might help too ... a buddy picked up some very
nice 870 TB Trap wood for a "song & a dance" , shipped !

Generally, no problem bringing wood products across the border by post.

Try Numrich Gun Parts from south of the border.I gave up on Western for my 1100 parts because he was just too expensive.Remington 1100 parts are not restricted so you can get just about any part shipped to Canada from Numrich.Just ask for the international order desk and they'll take good care of you.
