Strange feeling...

I woke this morning with a strange feeling...almost like I forgot something really exiting was about to happen.

Wifey said "you finally remembered our wedding anniversary, and my B-day coming up Sept?"... I glanced over at my book shelf and settled my gaze on the Hunting synopsis...ahh that's it, I said my first hunting season is almost here. WOOT!

Just thought I'd share.
Anyone else getting pre-season excitement?

Did Haggisfest mess you up that badly Todd? Moose opened on the 15th in this area of BC, and sheep have been open since Aug 1st. Time to open the regs again..

Oh Yeah. same here too. Archery opens on the 28th of this month, followed by our "Youth Waterfowl Season"(taking my son out) on the 1st of Sept then reg season starts on the 8th of Sept.
Looking forward to the next three months.

Me too. The season in the mountain WMUs opens up in early September for bear and elk in Alberta, I can't wait to get out again! Also got my antelope draw this year, should be a good fall I hope.

Some maples are completely red here in NL. We are a month ahead of last year it seems.

well, excluding mountain hunts and velvet horned northern moose, September 10th is when most rifle seasons start

Season started fo me already!!! Got this critter Thursday evening in MU7-32. My first moose, not a big guy (about 580lbs on the hoof), but I'm happy with it!
