I woke this morning with a strange feeling...almost like I forgot something really exiting was about to happen.

Wifey said "you finally remembered our wedding anniversary, and my B-day coming up Sept?"... I glanced over at my book shelf and settled my gaze on the Hunting synopsis...ahh that's it, I said my first hunting season is almost here. WOOT!

Just thought I'd share.
Anyone else getting pre-season excitement?

You it kinda disheartning to see summer go but then you remember that whitetail season is comming up and its all good.
Ive got it figured out now, I fish for the winter, and summer and hunt all fall. I never get bummed out for any season. Oh I almost forgot the varmint /predator season which is 365 as well Life is good !!

I'm glad summer is nearly over. I hate hot weather. Fall and winter are the months of happiness for me. 30-40degrees is for Africa or Toronto.

I was in MU7-32 between Chetwind and Dawson Creek. He came in to water at a fast run with a big guy right behind him (50" rack or so..). I was on my last night at camp and focused on the antlers of the first one, when I saw bone I plugged it. As it fell I saw the big guy veer off into the bush in a major hurry!
