Strange guns to see OPP carrying?

I saw two OPP officers in a Starbucks carrying something that i've never seen OPP with, they had somewhat of a drop-leg holster and their sidearms had competition like magwells, carried cocked and locked. At first i thought it was a 1911 but the grip didn't look right to me

Any one know what London OPP carry? Curious.

A government police agency with bottomless pockets.... I don't think so. They need to stretch any and every penny. If they had bottomless pockets every OPP would have one. There is a lot of cheapness in the OPP. But if they happen to spend a couple extra bucks to properly equip 3 TRU teams. I'm ok with that.
