Straps and Ropes and Slings, oh my!

How do you like the vicker on a bolt gun?

Looking for a way to carry my ruger scout on the quad slung but regular slings are slow to adjust.

It worked fine for me, other than the standard sling mount locations being ill suited for using the sling while actually keeping the rifle handy. Would have performed much better with side mounts for the sling.

Side mounts are essential for all these quick adjust slings.

My preference for them is front mount on left and rear mount on right (for RH shooter).

The A2 stock adapter can be used with a Vickers sling to allow carry at the ready with bolt guns or anything else that only has sling swivels in the conventional positions on the bottom of the stock.

Another side benefit is that the sling can be used as a quickly-deployed shooting aid. Stick your support arm through the loop formed by the adjustment slider and pull it tight.
